The second oldest golf club in Hampshire, New Forest Golf Club is a truly wonderful place to experience golf as it was intended!

We are in Lyndhurst – right in the heart of the New Forest National Park. As well as offering a stunning setting to enjoy your game, we have an unrivalled reputation for being a friendly and welcoming club.

Voted in ‘Today`s Golfer’ magazine as one of the top 50 heathland courses in the UK.

One of the first things you notice on arrival, apart from the course’s natural beauty, is the New Forest ponies and cattle roaming freely across the course (we like to think of them as extra green keepers). Something else that helps to set us apart from your average course!

A relatively flat easy walking par 69, at a little over 5500 yards off the back tees, the course provides a good test of golf no matter what standard you aspire to. Established in 1888, we are a true members’ club – open and welcoming to all golfers. You can view more course info HERE

Plenty of competitions are held throughout the whole year with active and flourishing men’s, seniors, ladies and junior sections.

“I’ve been a member at New Forest Golf Club for about 30 years, and was attracted by the warmth of my initial welcome. Over the years I have played many better courses but never found another club that would entice me away.

I have made many friends within the club – actually club is the wrong word- ‘family’ suits better.

Our course seems quite easy when viewed at first – little rough helps beginners who can enjoy the game without the pain of losing lots of balls. However, as you progress the course bites back and is a test for any golfer”
