New Flexible Membership

Thank you for choosing New Forest Golf Club as your PlayMoreGolf home club.

We are delighted to welcome you to our beautiful course and we hope you enjoy many great games of golf here.

Please take a few minutes to read the information below as it will help you with any potential queries you may have. If you have any further questions then please do not hesitate to give us a call in the office on 023 8028 2752 – or pop into the Pro Shop for a chat.

ON JOINING

Please pop into the Pro Shop to collect your membership badge. You may also collect a member’s card which entitles you to 10% off food and drink (a £25 initial top-up fee will apply).

HANDICAP

If you wish to generate or maintain an official handicap – you will need to pay the England Golf and Hampshire Golf affiliation fees (£21.80 per annum and due in April). You may do this in the Pro Shop.

Once you have paid this fee you will be allocated a CDH number via England Golf which will allow you to submit cards that count towards your handicap calculation. You will need to play a total of 3 x 18 holes to obtain a handicap, and each card must be marked and signed by a playing partner with an existing handicap.

If you already have a CDH number – please let us know and we can mark NFGC as your home club if required. Your existing handicap will be automatically transferred.

COMPETITIONS

You may play in selected competitions such as the Midweek comps that play throughout the summer. PMG members are excluded from trophy events and club matches.

GUESTS

Use your membership for up to 3 guests per round at the published rate

Please ensure all guests are aware of course, club and dress etiquette before their arrival.

BOOKING A TEE TIME

You may book a tee time up to 7 days in advance.

To book – please use your PMG app which will automatically deduct your points. The number of points needed will vary according to the day of the week and tee time. You can view the points matrix via your PMG account.

RECIPROCALS

Reciprocals are reserved for full membership only. We would be happy to discuss our own membership rates and benefits if you feel you want more from your membership.

DRESS CODE

We pride ourselves on being a relaxed and friendly golf club – but please note that we do have a strict dress code and the following clothing is not allowed:

Jeans

Cargo pants/cargo shorts

Football shirts and shorts

Obscene text or graphics

Ripped Clothing

Jogging bottoms

Vests

SOCIAL NIGHTS AND MEMBERS DRAW

As a PMG member you are welcome to attend our social events which run monthly from February to October. Look out for details in our newsletter and on social media.

Each month we run a Members’ Draw where you could win up to £500 – but only if you are present in the clubhouse at the time of the draw!
